As the population’s demographics evolve into a Latine majority in the United States, first and second generation Latine are establishing a new cultural identity informed by both their heritage and culture. This vibrant melting pot of ideas and innovation is shaping the global music community, however it continues to develop in the margins of the larger US music market.
In parallel form throughout Latin America, increased access to technology has facilitated global conversations, collaborations, and innovations in the arts.
